Minerals & Our Health

Every organism needs dietary minerals to ensure healthy living and support the function of vital processes. Our bodies CANNOT produce these vital elements (minerals) and must therefore acquire them through dietary intake. We need minerals in order for our body to do many of its daily functions. Minerals can be obtained through nutrient dense food, unfortunately the problem today with our food chain is they are quite void due to the anemic soils that have been stripped of minerals. Minerals play many vital roles, working synergistically with vitamins, enzymes, hormones and other nutrient cofactors to regulate literally thousands of the body’s biological functions.

Minerals are inorganic elements. Minerals cannot be produced or synthesized, by plants or animals. Minerals are essential for health. By far the body’s two most abundant minerals are calcium and phosphorus, which together comprise of approximately 75 percent of the entire body mineral make-up. Minerals have two basic functions of the body—building and regulating. Minerals build skeletal and soft tissues, and they regulate processes such as heartbeat, blood clotting, internal fluid pressure, nerve response and oxygen transport. Research shows there are 90 essential Nutrients needed for the human body. Of those essential nutrients 60 are Minerals.

“No cellular functions can be produced correctly if the body isn’t receiving all the minerals and trace elements the metabolism needs… It so happens that all degenerative disease originate, to one degree or another, in a severe mineral depletion of the body.”

Pre & Probiotics

Prebiotics are “Fertilizer” to feed the Probiotics and promoting good bacteria. Probiotics are the good, live bacteria that help maintain the natural balance of organisms (microflora) in the intestines needed for digestive health, immune system support, hormone balance and overall wellness. Manipulation of the bacteria within the colon with probiotics has proven effective in gut homeostasis. Some bacteriocins produced by probiotic bacteria have been shown to reduce the number of pathogenic bacteria, while altering pH and creating a protection within the colon. Gut flora has a function in the development and homeostasis of the immune system, as well as protection against pathogens. The gut microbiome: 95% of your body’s microbes live in your gut and 70% of your immune cells originate in the gut.

An assortment of characters’ lives in our gut, in a delicate balance with each other. With an appropriate balance, bacteria and other microbes play an important and useful role in digestion and contribute to overall health. The beneficial ones, the good guys, are termed probiotics (meaning pro-life!) because they are friendly to life by promoting our health and well-being. Probiotics improve the environment of the intestinal tract, and are important in healing many chronic gastrointestinal problems.

The Health Benefits of Pre & Probiotics:
• Boosts Immune System*
• Improves Digestion*
• Balances Good Bacteria*
• May Improve Mental Health*
• Keeps Your Heart Healthy*
• Fights Allergies and Eczema*

Living in today’s toxic and inflammatory world results in some amount of intestinal imbalance (dysbiosis/leaky gut) which may benefit from consumption of probiotic supplementation, even if your symptoms are not present.

If you want to take your gut to the next level, we recommend combining EverGUT with EverBETTER.

Systemic Enzymes

Systemic enzymes are key to a healthy lifestyle and are key to fighting inflammation, scar tissue and viruses. Natural exposure to processed foods, illness and other environmental debris can cause our body to use up systemic enzymes.

Many people turn to over the counter pain medications that can have serious side effects. Systemic enzymes significantly reduce swelling, bruising and stiffness, and help with joint stiffness and soreness. They are the “pac-man” of cleansing the blood of fibrin build up.

The important factor of systemic enzymes is the timing of the dosage. When using them on an empty stomach, the enzymes are not digesting food, they are absorbed into the blood and can have therapeutic effects on different systems of the body. All disease is the result of a deficiency, a lack of something essential to health, which results in sickness and pain. It is about bringing the body into balance which will improve overall health.
EverZYME and EverACTIVE are both enteric coated, allowing the powder to pass through the stomach and dissolve in the small intestine where the enzymes are released and absorbed in the bloodstream.

As we age, our bodies gradually become unable to meet the daily demand of producing enzymes. When this occurs, it is imperative for us to begin to supplement our body with the necessary enzymes to prevent havoc within. With the use of proteolytic systemic enzymes, they can increase the support of many conditions including:
• cardiovascular and respiratory health*
• the breakdown of excess fibrin*
• promote faster recovery *
• immune system regulation*
• healthy blood sugar levels*

The combination of EverZYME and EverACTIVE synergize each other to help meet most of your pain and inflammation health problems.

What is Leaky Gut Syndrome?

“When the gut becomes hyper-permeable, all sorts of gunk can get through and run loose in the body”
~ Karen DeFelice, Author of Enzymes: Go With Your Gut

Over 90% of people have Leaky Gut and don’t even know it!

Intestinal barrier permeability, aka “leaky gut”, is when the integrity of the tight junctions of the gut lining are compromised.  The walls of the intestines act as barriers, controlling what enters the bloodstream to be transported to your organs. Small gaps in the intestinal wall called tight junctions allow water and nutrients to pass through, while blocking the passage of harmful substances. Intestinal permeability refers to how easily substances pass through the intestinal wall. When the tight junctions of intestinal walls become loose, the gut becomes more permeable, which may allow bacteria and toxins to pass from the gut into the bloodstream. Disruption of intestinal tight junction barrier permeability can negatively impact local and systemic immune function and contribute to systemic inflammatory processes, both of which contribute to an excess of downstream chronic inflammatory disorders.

The truth is we all have a leaky gut! Why? Let’s face it our food chain has been destroyed through pesticide spraying, GMO foods, anemic soils (no minerals), and processed foods.
